- Indian Army Day
Indian Army Day is celebrated on 15 January every year. On this day in 1949, Lieutenant General K. M. Cariappa took over as the Chief of the Indian Army from British Commander-in-Chief General Francis Butcher. Therefore, this day is celebrated to honour the Indian Army.
The Indian Army works day and night for the security of the country. Our country is safe due to the courage, sacrifice, and loyalty of the soldiers fighting on the border. Wikipedia is a digital platform that provides information on various topics to people around the world. Its feature is that people can edit and update articles on it themselves. This is why Wikipedia has become an open source of knowledge.
Today, Wikipedia is available in more than 300 languages and is used by millions of people around the world. The use of Wikipedia for education, research, and information exchange is invaluable.
